JESUS

Way    Truth    Life

Have you ever considered the question: ‘What on earth am I here for?’ Well, there is more to life than just meets the eye- than just living it in an everyday routine of events. For some, life is a drudgery, while for others it is just living to please themselves in temporary pursuits, at the end of which they feel more empty. In whatever category you would like to place yourself, there is an emptiness in every individual that can be filled only by the Creator- GOD Himself!

How did that emptiness, a feeling of unrest, dissatisfaction and lack of direction come into us? Well, the Bible says, that through the first man and woman, sin entered the world and along with it, spiritual death- an eternal separation from GOD. We have all fallen short of GOD’s glorious standard from the time we are born into this world (Romans 3:23). Only when we come into a right standing with GOD in first dealing with sin and spiritual condition of death within us, can we live life meaningfully. Otherwise, the emptiness will remain all through our lifetime and after death, we will be eternally separated from GOD.

Now how do we deal with sin? The Bible tells us that the wages of sin death (Romans 6:23). As sinners, we ought to pay the penalty for our sin by our death. But the Good News is that it has already been paid for! –Jesus Christ took our sin on Himself and paid it with His substitutionary death on the Cross (2Corinthians 5:21: Isaiah 53:5). All we need to do is to accept His death on our behalf and appropriate it in our lives by believing in Him and receiving Him.

Jesus Christ said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father[GOD] except through me” (John 14:6).

Will you accept what Christ has done for you on your behalf so that you can have peace with GOD through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)? When you have peace with GOD, you can have peace with yourself and with others as well.

These are 3 simple steps which can lead you to accept GOD’s free offer of salvation into your life:

A- Admit you are a sinner needing GOD’s intervention

B- Believe in the saving work of Jesus Christ on your behalf

C- Commit your life by inviting Christ into your life and entering into a relationship       with GOD.

1John 1:9 says,” If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Rom.10:9, 10: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

Friend, it’s just a matter of simple faith in a GOD who is willing to offer life eternal with no strings attached. The choice is yours to make- its free and it's for you – that’s the GOOD NEWS!!!
