Divine Protection:
Israel being a chosen people, from the midst of pagan practices, God took special care to keep them from mingling with the idolatrous neighbouring countries and their practices. In order to achieve this kind of purity and separation, God had given them strict laws to keep them from falling away. God asks Israelites to kill them and eradicate such evil from their midst before it becomes a plague and devour the whole community. This was ordained by God in order to keep the camp pure from any kind of Idolatry. Any violation was dealt justly according to the percepts. Heb 2:2 'For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward'.
 

Divine test:
God does not tempt anyone but tests their faith in Him. James 1:2-3 'My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience'. God did the same from the old. He tested His people whether their love and faith were genuine. If it is genuine it will pass the test, if not they will turn aside to worship other god's. Deut 13:3 'you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or .. for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul'.

Divine Restoration:
Mount Carmel, God uses as the supreme example for this kind of action. (1 Kings 18:20-40). God raised up Elijah and brought the people to the top of the mountain and tested the false prophets and priests of Baal in front of them. Then the whole community became well aware about who was true God. 1Ki 18:39-40 'Now when all the people saw it.. and they said, "The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!"  And Elijah said to them, "Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!" .. Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there’. This is the way falsehood has to be dealt with. God in His mercy has dealt with this situation to turn the whole nation aside and to bless them by truly showing them who was the true God.

Divine Restoration on Calvary:
On the mount of Calvary, God has displayed His love. He has brought the whole humanity to the foot of Calvary through the Gospel. Divine fire has come down and consumed every sin and there lies the display of divine love. Anyone can look and be saved. Isa 45:22 "Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other".

All the falsehood and all other false religion that is prevalent in this world, when brought to test on this divine ground will prove false. There is nothing in this world that can match this Love. Let every man bring their confused soul to the ground of truth and test it themselves and choose. 
So let us bring every message or prophesy to this testing ground and prove it. If it passes this test of Calvary then we can accept it. If not we need to reject it without any doubt.
