This is the time of God’s restoration and rebuilding of His church. We have entered into the season of this wonderful restoration. That is the reason why God in innumerable ways is working out this wonderful salvation for His remnant Church. The world around us is going through turmoil unseen in previous history. As we read in Luke 21:25-28: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” If we take this call seriously to rise up and lift our heads as the fulfillment of His promise comes nearer and nearer, let us separate ourselves from the rest of the world.

Isaiah 52:11-12 says, “ Depart! Depart! Go out from there, Touch no unclean thing; Go out from the midst of her, Be clean, You who bear the vessels of the LORD. …. For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard…” This in turn will take us to the heavenlies with Jesus and God will fulfill His promise to His church. Jesus is returning for a pure and spotless bride- His Church. So this is the given time for the church to clean up, separate and become a strong power on this earth to display all glories of heavenly realm before departing from this earth. One of the purposes of the church upon this earth is to display to this world the manifold wisdom of God: “to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord…” (Eph.3:10-11)  For this God has opened an effective double door in front of His church. As we see in “… to His anointed, ….whose right hand I have held……..To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut..”(Isa.45:1)

This is the season God wants His church to complete the very purpose upon this earth and get ready for the return of the Lord. The Lord will not return until Mathew 24:14 happens. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matt. 24:14)

As God is opening up heavens to pour out His blessing; the church will experience unmerited favors from the Lord; but at the same time isolation from the world around her. This makes the inhabitants of the church to really prepare for His return as they themselves find they do not at all belong to this world any more. And as the church yearns for her Beloved’s return, Jesus will come to receive her. Therefore let us awake from our slumber and put on the very new strength and walk in obedience to Him and His word.
