The book of Revelation has its distinctive marks compared to any other book in the Bible. With the imageries and vivid detailing of the future events, God captures the attention of the reader to the great reality that Jesus Christ is coming again to establish His Kingdom with His holy ones!

The plan of God for each of His children is for Him to lead them triumphantly and joyfully. Ps 105:37 states “Among His tribes there was not one who stumbled” and Ps.105:43 : “He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with joy and shout.” It is God’s purpose concerning your life too! Are you enjoying such a fulfilling life? How is it possible?

In Rev. 12:10-11, it says that you are an overcomer!! A voice in heaven announces that Salvation, Power, Kingdom of God and Authority of Christ have come and the accuser (satan) has been thrown down. It is true that in our everyday life, the effect of Salvation, the power of God , the captivating presence of the Kingdom of God and the manifest revelation of the authority of Christ will be experienced only when we reject the accusations and lies of the devil and rise above it !!

The Christian life is a journey of discoveries – not inventions. As Josh McDowell has stated – “You don’t become a new person by changing your behavior but, you discover the person you already are in Christ and behave accordingly.” We don’t invent but discover God’s plans, His promises, His ways for our lives and direct our lives accordingly – that is victory!!

 

There are two important things that help us to live victoriously everyday: Rev 12:11 lists them – the blood of the Lamb and the word of testimony. To testify means to declare facts – when we believe and proclaim the facts in God’s word, when we plead the blood of Christ, the devil’s accusations fail !!

When you proclaim that the penalty for your sins are already paid through the blood of Christ, the devil loses his ground to keep you under subjection through guilt. Oh the blood of Jesus– that purchased me and set me free! 1Cor. 16:19-20 says that we are not our own, for we are bought with a price – and that price is the precious blood, the blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:19). When you believe and declare that you have been made holy by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus and direct your daily life in line with that declaration – you overcome!!

William Carey stated: "The future is as bright as the promises of God." Live in the promises of God – thus proving you are a victor.

Father God I acknowledge my redemption through

the blood of Jesus Christ and I surrender my life today

to live in victory – in Jesus’ name
